Antoin "Tony" Rezko

"Tony" Rezko (born 1955 in Syria) is an American political fundraiser, restaurateur, and real estate developer in Chicago, Illinois, convicted on several counts of fraud and bribery in 2008.

In 1995, Obama began campaigning for a seat in the Illinois Senate. Among his earliest supporters: Rezko. Two Rezko companies donated a total of $2,000. Obama was elected in 1996 -- representing a district that included 11 of Rezko's 30 low-income housing projects.
Rezko's low-income housing empire began crumbling in 2001, when his company stopped making mortgage payments on the old nursing home that had been converted into apartments. The state foreclosed on the building -- which was in Obama's Illinois Senate district.
In 2003, Obama announced he was running for the U.S. Senate, and Rezko -- a member of his campaign finance committee -- held a lavish fund-raiser June 27, 2003, at his Wilmette mansion.
A few months after Obama became a U.S. senator, he and Rezko's wife, Rita, bought adjacent pieces of property from a doctor in Chicago's Kenwood neighborhood -- a deal that has dogged Obama the last two years. The doctor sold the mansion to Obama for $1.65 million -- $300,000 below the asking price. Rezko's wife paid full price -- $625,000 -- for the adjacent vacant lot. The deals closed in June 2005. Six months later, Obama paid Rezko's wife $104,500 for a strip of her land, so he could have a bigger yard. At the time, it had been widely reported that Tony Rezko was under federal investigation.
Rezko has become an "Achilles heel" for Illinois Sen. Barack Obama after disclosures he and people associated with him had raised almost $200,000 for Obama and that Obama sought Rezko's "help and advice" in the purchase of a new home.
In a court hearing in Chicago, prosecutors detailed a $3.5 million wire transfer from a bank in Beirut, Lebanon that they said was moved through a series of accounts until it reached Rezko or some of his relatives who had posted property for his bond.
Rezko is now in jail and no one knows what the outcome will be. Perhaps a presidential pardon.

Louis Farrakhan

Born May 11, 1933 (1933-05-11) (age 75) The Bronx, New York

Occupation Head of the Nation of Islam Religious beliefs Nation of Islam Farrakhan currently resides in Kenwood, a neighborhood on the south side of Chicago, and part time at a Nation of Islam farm in New Buffalo, Michigan. He led the 1995 Million Man March on Washington and has declared Barack Obama the messiah.

William Ayers
Born
Occupation Professor
William Ayers was a member of the Vietman War protesters known as the Weathermen, a terrorist group in the 60's who caused a great deal of property damage and several deaths. Among other advice Ayers told young people ""Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, kill your parents—that's where it's really at." His wife, Bernardine Dohrn, was at one time one of the FBI's Ten Most Wanted criminals. Although she was convicted of a felony, some legal mixup allowed them both to escape the worst of the charges. Ayers has boasted he is "Guilty as sin, free as a bird." Ayers and his wife co-authored a book, Prairie Fire dedicated in part to Sirhan Sirhan, who asassinated Robert Kennedy in 1969. Barack Obama's polital career was launched in their living room. Obama shared an office with him for at least three years and wrote a recommendation for one of Ayers' books.

Rashid Khalidi

Khalidi has been accused of having ties to the Palestinian Liberation Organization, based on his work for Wafa in the late 1980s, and later serving as an advisor to the Palestinian delegation during the Madrid Conference of 1991. As an example, the New York Times referred to him in 1978 as "an American-educated Palestinian who teaches political science at the American University of Beirut and also works for the P.L.O."

Obama made one of the presentations in praise of Khalidi at a 2003 farewell dinner on the occasion of Khalidi leaving the Chicago Area. The dinner was a celebration of the Chicago area Palestinian community. Obama's remarks alluded to the numerous dinners that he had at the home of the Khalidis. Obama and Bill Ayers dispersed monies to Islamic groups controlled by the Khalidis acting as board members of the Woods Fund of Chicago and Annenberg Foundation.

Reverend Jeremiah Wright

Rev.Wright of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago shocked televison viewers nationwide in March when tapes of his vitriolic hate fill paranoid speeches begain to be shown on prime time news shows. He waved his arms in the air and turned around like an erratic top as he yelled "No, no, no, God Damn America, it's in the Bible!" and "America's chickens are coming home to roost!". All the while demonstrating the incoming flight of a crazed chicken. It was scary and unbelievable people in their right minds would sit there and listen to him. But they did more than passively listen, they cheered and egged him on. He told them lies like AID's was a Government plot to kill black people. That the Government deliberately let our men at Pearl Harbor be killed, and a lot more. We learned his church was not atypical. But the difference was Barack Obama had by his own admission been sitting there for 20 years worth of sermons. "Yep. Every week. 11 o’clock service". What? He sat there with his two little kids listening to that hate filled garbage? Yes. And he considered Rev. Wright his mentor, was married by him and allowed him to baptize his children.

Should Barack Obama be elected President of the United States?

The"Poor" Reverend Wright's New Mansion

Fox News producer Jesse Watters takes you on a tour of Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s new mansion — including Greek columns, endless garages, golf course, and more…

Here’s your wealth-spreading, redistributive change in action:

Words Matter

"Yep. Every week. 11 o’clock service"

by Janet Crain

How on earth a sane person can sit in the audience with two innocent little children and let them hear this insane ranting and raving and lies about our country is beyond me. The children in that audience and who knows how many others have been indoctrinated, many probably beyond redemption, with hatred. And what effect this will have on their lives is a tragedy. These hateful words coming from a minister is an outrage. That the adults cheer and egg him on is beyond words.

When asked in March 2004 whether he attended regularly Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s Trinity United Church of Christ, Obama boasted, “Yep. Every week. 11 o’clock service.”The healer Obama further characterized the racist Wright as “certainly someone who I have an enormous amount of respect for.”

We Still Don't Know Who Obama Is......

"Only the Democrats would pay $610,000,000 for an empty suit!!!"

The Obama Enigma

Change . . . from what to what?

By Victor Davis Hanson

Why is the charismatic Barack Obama not quite yet a shoo-in?

Easy. Voters apparently still don’t know who Obama is, or what he wants to do — and so are still not altogether sure that Obama is the proper antidote to George W. Bush. After more than a year of campaigning, he still remains an enigma.Obama promised to be the post-racial candidate who would bring us together.

But when asked in March 2004 whether he attended regularly Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s Trinity United Church of Christ, Obama boasted, “Yep. Every week. 11 o’clock service.”The healer Obama further characterized the racist Wright as “certainly someone who I have an enormous amount of respect for.”

And Obama described the even more venomous father Michael Pfleger as “a dear friend, and somebody I interact with closely.”Obama can dismiss his past associations with Bill Ayers as perfunctory and now irrelevant. But why then did an Obama campaign spokesman say Obama hadn’t e-mailed with or spoken by phone to Ayers since January 2005, suggesting more than three years of communications — in a post-9/11 climate — after Ayers said publicly he had not done enough bombing?

Obama’s campaign shrugged when legal doubts were raised about the sloppy voter registration practices of ACORN — an organization that Obama himself has both helped and praised.

Yet Obama once was a stickler for proper voter documents. In 1996, he had all of his Democratic rivals removed from the ballot in an Illinois state primary election on the basis of sloppy voter petitions.

Many of Obama’s surrogates — from congressional leaders like Rep. John Lewis to his running mate, Sen. Joe Biden — have suggested that the McCain and Palin candidacies have heightened racial tensions. Do such preemptory warnings mean that one cannot worry about Obama’s 20-year relationship with Rev. Wright or long association with Father Pfleger?

And change? Obama himself has changed positions on FISA, NAFTA, public campaign financing, town-hall meetings with McCain, offshore drilling, nuclear and coal power, capital punishment and gun control, his characterization of Iran, the surge in Iraq, and the future of Jerusalem. So change from what to what?

Obama’s Extensive Ties to Hate Groups and Bigots

These are ugly words below and it is repulsive to me to publish them here. I only do so in the hope it will shock some sensibility into some Obama supporter. If you vote for him, you are as guilty as his associates. What would you do if your child came home from school spouting this language? Yet you think it is OK for a minister? Obama called this man a mentor. Sat in his church for twenty years. And apparently was not fazed by his Farrakhan association. It makes me sick to hear such language. And nobody can explain it away. I think Obama has feet of clay. He's NO HERO!!!

January 12, 2008
“Bloodsucking Jews,” “white interlopers,” “Judaism is a gutter religion,” “White America,” “Cracker lovers,” and more by Bill Levinson

It is a basic tenet of common sense, not to mention common decency, that public figures like celebrities and politicians do not consort with, promote, endorse, or otherwise empower racists and/or anti-Semites. Endorsement of hate mongers or hate groups, or proven hate speech, can easily derail or even end a career. We fail to understand why Barack Obama is getting a pass from the media on his open association with and promotion of the country’s most vicious racist and anti-Semitic hate mongers, who now include the Nation of Islam’s Louis Farrakhan. First, however, let’s take a look at the standard consequences of hate speech by public figures, so our readers can apply these standards to Mr. Obama.

(1) James G Watt, US Secretary of the Interior. “I have a black, a woman, two Jews and a cripple.” Forced to resign.
(2) Trent Lott, U.S. Senator. “When Strom Thurmond ran for president, we voted for him. We’re proud of it. And if the rest of the country had followed our lead, we wouldn’t have had all these problems over the years, either.” When Strom Thurmond ran for President, he was a segregationist, although he had long repudiated segregationism when Lott praised him. Lott resigned as the Senate’s Republican leader.
(3) Don Imus, radio personality. Made a poor-taste joke about “nappy headed hos.” Dismissed from his job.
(4) Mel Gibson, actor. While drunk, made demeaning remarks about Jews. Apologized publicly.
(5) Mitt Romney, Presidential candidate. Made a speech at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn Michigan. Henry Ford published anti-Semitic material but later repudiated it. The National Jewish Democratic Council suggests that making a speech at the museum of a long-dead EX-antisemite disqualifies Romney.

Barack Obama: Posed for numerous photos with, and praised extensively, a prominent and unrepentant racist and anti-Semite who at least indirectly incited two fatal anti-Semitic and racist pogroms (Crown Heights, Freddy’s Fashion Mart) and played a major role in the racist Tawana Brawley scam. His pastor Jeremiah Wright has made racist remarks about “white America” getting its “wake up call” on 9/11, and the Trinity United Church of Christ awarded the “Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr. Trumpet” Award to Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam. Farrakhan is on record as calling Judaism a “gutter religion” while saying that “white people are potential humans,” but they “haven’t evolved yet.” Consequences: none. It is therefore up to us, and our readers, to expose this phony smile and empty suit for exactly what he is through the Internet, letters to the editor, and other media.

The fact that Obama is largely a media creation as opposed to a person of any substance or sincerity probably explains why the media lets him get away with so much. After all, what movie director who, while expecting to make an Oscar-winning hit, would derail his own production by exposing it as a fraud and a scam? Obamamania is the Oscar-winning hit, and the media people who are backing it are not going to let Obama’s total lack of character and substance get in the way. The following excerpt from Henryk Ibsen’s Peer Gynt should underscore what we mean by an empty suit. The protagonist contemplates his life by peeling away layers like those of an onion in an effort to discover his real self:

Michael Reagan: Obama Lied About My Dad

By Michael Reagan
FrontPageMagazine.com
Thursday, March 20, 2008

Most of the media and their fellow liberals were positively giddy over Barack Obama’s speech Tuesday, all but comparing it to the Sermon on the Mount. I won’t deny it was a masterful piece of oratory -- the man can be spellbinding -- but when you stop to consider what Sen. Obama was really doing up there on the podium, invoking the specter of slavery and Jim Crow and the era of “whites only,” it becomes clear that it was a con job designed to make the voters as giddy as he knew his worshippers in the submissive media would be.

The speech was meant to be an explanation and expiation of his guilt for his years of remaining mute in the face of the outrageous anti-Americanism spewed by his pastor and bosom buddy, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright.Until Tuesday, Barack Obama (you can’t use his middle name, which has now become the “H-word,” allegedly a code word for anti-Muslim rhetoric) had steadfastly denied he ever heard his friend and pastor make his hateful remarks.

In the speech, however, he just kind of mentioned that… well, yes … he guesses he was aware of the Reverend Wright’s offensive rhetoric after all. Mea Minima Culpa.

He then launched into a defense of his friendship with the man he credited for bringing him to Christianity, and helping to form his social and political philosophy and set him on the path to a life of public service. Admirably, while denouncing Wright’s extremism, he refused to denounce the man himself.

Nobody expected him to declare Wright anathema and cast him into the outer darkness where there is weeping and wailing and the gnashing of teeth -- one simply doesn’t do to that sort of thing to a longtime friend, benefactor and mentor even if he has been shown to have slipped the rails time after time.

What was not expected was Barack H. Obama’s use of a litany of America’s past racist offenses to justify not only Wright’s blatant hatred of white America but his suggestion that it was a sentiment shared by most African Americans. And that is simply not true.

Nor was it true, as Obama charged, that the Reagan coalition was created out of white resentment for affirmative action or forced busing. He charged that “anger over welfare and affirmative action helped forge the Reagan coalition. Politicians routinely exploited fears of crime… talk show hosts and conservative commentators built entire careers unmasking bogus claims of racism while dismissing legitimate discussions of racial injustice and inequality as mere political correctness or reverse racism.”

Poppycock! These are not only outright falsehoods, but echoes of what Obama learned at the feet of Jeremiah Wright and now preaches as his own beliefs. He learned his lessons well. When he suggested that my father’s coalition was based on anger over affirmative action and welfare he was peddling a blatant falsehood as egregious in its falsity as Wright’s charge that whites created AIDS to wipe out the black population.

Everything Obama said was directed at suggesting that while Rev. Wright should not have used such inflammatory language, he was somehow justified because of America’s white racism.Try as he might, Barack Obama cannot claim the innocence of a lamb in his long years of worshipful association with the Reverend Jeremiah Wright. He was either fully aware of the seething racial hatred that motivated Wright, or something of a blithering idiot who can’t spot a racist hater when he spends years genuflecting at his feet.

Barack Obama is not an idiot. He is a brilliant orator who exudes charm and arouses near-worship from his host of giddy, hypnotized supporters. He is also a committed socialist and a talented salesman for his brand of Marxist snake oil. Beware of camels bearing gifts, and politicians promising utopia.

Mike Reagan, the eldest son of President Ronald Reagan, is heard on more than 200 talk radio stations nationally as part of the Radio America Network

A Disavowal of the Pursuit of Middleclassness

Barack Obama has had quite a lot to say about the middle class lately. But it seems that it is an anathema to him and other members of his church to be middle class. JC

Obamination

By Erik Rush

How many Americans would vote for a presidential candidate who was the member of a church that professed the following credo?

Commitment to God
Commitment to the White Community
Commitment to the White Family
Dedication to the Pursuit of Education
Dedication to the Pursuit of Excellence
Adherence to the White Work Ethic
Commitment to Self-Discipline and Self-Respect
Disavowal of the Pursuit of "Middleclassness"
Pledge to make the fruits of all developing and acquired skills available to the White Community
Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources for Strengthening and Supporting White Institutions
Pledge allegiance to all White leadership who espouse and embrace the White Value System

Personal commitment to embracement of the White Value System. The question is rhetorical, of course. The answer is that such a candidate wouldn't have a snowball's chance in hell of getting elected dog catcher (apologies to America's animal rescue and public safety personnel) let alone President, because that candidate would be instantly branded a racist, among the most vile and frightening of white supremacists.

And those holding the branding irons would be 100% right.

Yet, in the "About" section of the U.S. Senate website for Barack Obama, Democratic senator from Illinois and contender for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States, it states that Obama and his family "live on Chicago's South Side where they attend Trinity United Church of Christ."So...?

Well, to say that the Trinity United Church of Christ (http://www.tucc.org/) is afrocentric in the extreme would be a gross understatement. It's not simply afrocentric, it's African-centric. In fact, one could argue that this organization worships things African to a far greater degree than they do Christ, and gives the impression of being a separatist "church" in the same vein as do certain supremacist "white brethren" churches — or even Louis Farrakhan's Nation of Islam.

Shocking? An overstatement? An overreaction? One can see for oneself on the Trinity United Church website, which is replete with confirmation of what I present here. What follows is an excerpt from their Mission Statement:"We are a congregation which is Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian... Our roots in the Black religious experience and tradition are deep, lasting and permanent. We are an African people, and remain "true to our native land," the mother continent, the cradle of civilization. God has superintended our pilgrimage through the days of slavery, the days of segregation, and the long night of racism. It is God who gives us the strength and courage to continuously address injustice as a people, and as a congregation. We constantly affirm our trust in God through cultural expression of a Black worship service and ministries which address the Black Community."Trinity United Church of Christ adopted the Black Value System written by the Manford Byrd Recognition Committee chaired by Vallmer Jordan in 1981. We believe in the following 12 precepts and covenantal statements. These Black Ethics must be taught and exemplified in homes, churches, nurseries and schools, wherever Blacks are gathered. They must reflect on the following concepts:

Commitment to God
Commitment to the Black Community
Commitment to the Black Family
Dedication to the Pursuit of Education
Dedication to the Pursuit of Excellence
Adherence to the Black Work Ethic
Commitment to Self-Discipline and Self-Respect
Disavowal of the Pursuit of "Middleclassness"
Pledge to make the fruits of all developing and acquired skills available to the Black Community
Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources for Strengthening and Supporting Black Institutions
Pledge allegiance to all Black leadership who espouse and embrace the Black Value System
Personal commitment to embracement of the Black Value System."

Sound familiar? Of course it is, since it's identical to the 12-point list at the beginning of this column — the one from the theoretical white supremacist candidate's church; the only difference is the substitution of the word "Black" for "White."Trinity United Church of Christ's congregation also claims to hold to a "10-point Vision" which is similarly afrocentric, or if you will, separatist.

Again, like the Nation of Islam, a white separatist church or the Branch Davidians, Trinity United more resembles a cult than a church. Only this one has as one of its most prominent members a serious contender for the White House.

And George W. Bush's born-again Christian status scares people?

These revelations, of course shed all the light we need on Obama's inscrutability; since before he announced his candidacy, both the Right and Left have commented on the lack of information vis-à-vis just who Barack Obama is and what he's about. From The Chicago Tribune, February 06, 2007, Column: Against Middleclassness? by Rich Lowry. "Vallmer Jordan, a church member who helped draft the precepts, said they were designed to empower the black community and counter a value system imposed by whites. 'The big question mark was racism,' he said. 'Black disempowerment was an integral part of that historical value system. It became increasingly apparent to me that we black people had not developed our own value system . . . to help us overcome all we knew we had to battle.'"
